ABOUT THE PLATFORM
DrivingTheory.be is an English-language study platform for the Belgian Category B driving licence theory exam. It brings together video lessons, two complete theory eBooks, and 600+ online practice questions — all in English, all in one place.
The platform was founded by Anjum Pasha, author of “Driving Theory for Belgium Made Simple.” The content is written and produced specifically for English speakers preparing for the Belgian theory exam.
Yes. All content is based on the official Belgian Highway Code published by the Federal Public Service Mobility and Transport and the official traffic code at wegcode.be. The platform covers all ten official exam categories for Category B.
No. It is for anyone who prefers to study in English — regardless of nationality or background. Many users are international students, foreign nationals, or people who simply find English easier to study in than Dutch, French, or German.
No. DrivingTheory.be runs in your browser on any device — phone, tablet, or desktop. No download or installation is needed. Your access is the same on all devices.
THE EXAM
It is the written theory test required to obtain a Belgian driving licence for cars and light vehicles. The exam consists of 50 questions covering all official traffic code categories. Certain questions carry a 5-point penalty if answered incorrectly — two such errors result in automatic failure.
50 questions in total. The exam is timed and conducted at an official examination centre recognised by GOCA Belgium.
All ten official categories: Hierarchy of Regulations, Traffic Boards and Road Signs, Priority and Right-of-Way, Speed, Public Roads, Parking and Waiting, Drugs and Alcohol, Load and Breakdown, Mobility and Environment, and Manoeuvres.

The Study Bundle gives you the most complete preparation. If you prefer to focus on one area — for example only practice questions or only video lessons — the standalone plans are a good option.
Yes. The Free 3-Day Bundle Preview gives you access to 2 video lessons, the first two chapters of both eBooks, practice questions from 2 categories, and a 50-question mock exam. No payment and no card details are required.
No. There are no hidden fees and no automatic renewal. You pay once for the period you choose. When your plan expires your access ends and nothing further is charged.

ACCESS AND TECHNICAL
Your access ends at the end of your plan period. Your account remains active so you can purchase a new plan at any time. No content is deleted from the platform.
Yes. You can log in on any device using the same account. There is no device limit.
No. Everything runs in your browser. The video lessons open on Vimeo in a new tab and the eBook readers run directly on the site.
No. Each account is for one person only. Sharing login details is not permitted under our Terms of Use.
Click the Login link at the top of the page and use the “Forgot Password” option. A reset link will be sent to your registered email address.

VIDEO LESSONS
There are 7 structured lessons with a total running time of 6 to 7 hours. Each lesson covers a specific set of theory topics.
The 7 lessons cover: Junctions, Junctions Part 2 (roundabouts and turning), Speed, On the Roads, Traffic Signs, Waiting and Parking, and You and Your Car.
The videos are hosted on Vimeo but open in the same browser when you click Watch on Vimeo. They are domain-restricted, so they can only be watched through DrivingTheory.be.
No. The videos are stream-only and cannot be downloaded.
Video Lessons plans (2-month and 4-month) and the Study Bundle. The free 3-day preview includes 2 lessons.
PRACTICE EXAM
600+ questions spread across all ten official exam categories.
Yes. Every question includes a full written explanation of the correct answer based on the official Belgian traffic code at wegcode.be.
Yes. The mock exam consists of 50 random questions drawn from the full question bank — a different set every time.
Yes. Each of the ten official exam categories has its own 15-question quiz using random questions from that category.

No. The eBooks are available for reading on the platform only and cannot be downloaded or printed.
eBook plans give 4 months of digital access. Study Bundle and Video Lessons plans also include eBook access for the duration of the plan.
No. The digital eBooks are exclusively available via DrivingTheory.be. Printed physical editions of both books are available on Amazon.
